Advent is a time of preparation for the birth of Jesus and the arrival of Christmas. This Advent season, as we take a pause in The Story, it's time to enter The Story of Christmas. Through December, we will journey through Matthew's and Luke's accounts of Christ's birth. Because we have been going through The Story together, many of the names listed in Jesus' family tree bring to mind multiple stories; real-life stories about people who needed redemption as badly as we do.

God's grand story of redemption changed history and can change our lives. He came to us and for us. This Christmas, let’s not let the busyness of our cultural celebration of Christmas eclipse The Story of Christmas as told in Matthew and Luke.
