Our Student Ministry

This ministry is for students from 7th through 12th grade. Here a First Pres. we believe that students' middle and high school years are an important period of faith formation and general growth so we strive to create a place for students to come, be themselves, meet new friends, have fun and grow in their faith. Together, we learn what it means and looks like to be rooted in Jesus, grow in His love, and branch out to serve others.

Student Activities

Sunday Mornings:

Our youth Bible study meets during the 11 service on Sunday mornings in the Fletcher Room. We explore the Bible with help from the Bible Project as we work together to show our students how to know and follow Jesus.

Wednesday Nights:

During the school year, we offer Youth Group on Wednesday nights from 6:00–8:00pm. Join us for a night of connection, fun, and faith. We kick things off with dinner from 6:00–6:30pm, followed by engaging activities, meaningful conversations, and time to grow together.

Twin Peaks Bible Camp

We take our students to Twin Peaks Bible Camp in Collbran, CO. each winter for a weekend of connection, growth, and snowy fun! Twin Peaks has been around since 1950 and was originally associated with Calgary Bible Church. Overtime, it has become a popular camp and retreat location for those around the Grand Valley and beyond. Students stay in cabins for two nights, with five meals during their stay. Many of the cabins have bathrooms and heaters, so students can stay warm during their weekend at camp. Students from 7th to 12th grade are invited to join us. We hope to see you there!

Table in the Wilderness

Every summer, we take our students up to Wyoming for a week long camp at Table in the Wilderness. The camp offers several different cabins for students to stay in as well as main lodge with a gathering space, dining hall, meeting room and more. Table in the Wilderness also has many fun activities for students to participate in including a ropes course, climbing wall, zipline, hiking, and many ways to get outside and go on adventures!
